Clinic Leadership

The background for the leadership at Northwest Hand and Orthopedics is included in this section.  We work as a high performance team dedicated to ensuring the best possible personalized medicine wherever the patient is touched in the organization.  Many patients who come through the doors are in the middle of a “life-altering event” in their lives.

We keep appointments open every day for same day appointments and accept walk-in patients until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.  We know that prompt care can often prevent surgery.  We appreciate the trust and confidence you have in our expert physicians and staff.  Our Guiding Principles are listed below.  They are aimed at an excellent experience for the patient, their families and the referring provider.   By ensuring a supportive culture, a knowledge-based support staff and awesome communication, we can exceed your expectations.

Guiding Principles – August 2010

We are a group of physician specialists and their support staff whose purpose is to provide exceptional patient care.

We assist our patients to improve their lives through improved function.

We realize that different patients have different needs, and that no one provider or technique is the best for all individuals.

We encourage both diversity and mutual support in our collaborative approach to patient care.

We actively build a collegial organization where all physicians’ views are respected and where differences of opinion are discussed in a supportive fashion.

We encourage referral to complementary specialists within our group.  If the group is not able to provide the care our patient needs, we refer our patient to an outside specialist who is not only an exceptional practitioner, but who will provide the same type of responsible care that we endeavor to deliver ourselves.

Throughout the organization, all perspectives, points of view and suggestions are welcome.

Physician behavior, both with our patients, amongst providers, and with our staff set the tone and example for the entire organization.  It takes a dedicated, cohesive team to provide the level of care our patients deserve.

Realizing our work as a team, we recognize that what is good for one is good for many.  We actively encourage each others’ successes.
